Wallabies duo hoping to un-pick the All Blacks' defence with special bag of tricks

Brisbane - Coach Michael Cheika has raised eyebrows by claiming the All Blacks vs Wallabies Live
in the Bledisloe Cup series following their shaky win over Italy.Australia, coming off a home loss to Scotland the previous week, made six changes as they scrambled to a 40-27 win over the Six Nations strugglers in Brisbane on Saturday.

The Wallabies held a tenuous 28-27 lead with four minutes remaining, but conjured two late tries to salvage victory over the All Blacks vs Wallabies Live Stream Hunt reflected what many were thinking when he said after the final whistle: "We just can't afford to do that against the All Blacks in the Rugby Championship because they'll kill us."

Cheika took the opposite tack, talking up their chances of beating the world champions in Sydney on August 19."The performance (against Italy) wasn't up to winning that match, for sure," he told reporters after Saturday's game.

"We've got to get our work right in the next six to eight weeks that's left before that first Test (against New Zealand) so we don't play like that, we play much better."Australia's players now return to Super Rugby for the last two weeks of the regular season, before reassembling to prepare for the All Blacks.

Cheika said he was confident they can pull off a major shock against a team that beat the British and Irish Lions 30-15 in Auckland on Saturday."I know everyone's having a laugh when I say that, but I believe with that clear goal we can go there and do that," he said.

"We've got to work extra hard and we've got to be prepared to work even harder once we come out of Super Rugby for that little (training) block to be ready because it's a key element to staying in the game."Wallabies captain Stephen Moore, meanwhile, lashed Super Rugby franchises for not preparing players for the rigours of Test rugby.

He backed Cheika's comments throughout the June Test series, saying players simply weren't fit enough for the international arena."It shouldn't be hard for Super Rugby to produce players that are ready for Test match footy," Moore said.

"I don't know what the issue is there, but we need to make sure the next two months or whatever it is ... we can't waste a day."There is a gap between Super Rugby and Test rugby, the intensity's up, but that doesn't mean we can't train like we have to play Test footy."

Wallabies winger Sefa Naivalu is in doubt for the Bledisloe Cup opener after suffering an ankle injury against Italy and will be out for up to seven weeks. The duo have been hard at work refining special skill sets, like their spectacular kick and catch routine.
Foley's precise cross-field kicks set up a couple of Folau's six tries during the Australia's June Test program. The 193cm Folau is renowned as one of the great aerialists in the code, after honing his skills in that area during his rugby league and Australian rules days.

New Zealand also have a deadly cross-field kicker in five-eight Beauden Barrett.
Folau only averages a try every four Tests against New Zealand as opposed to his career mark of almost one every other game against all nations. He feels his developing kick and catch combination with NSW Waratahs teammate Foley gives the Wallabies a chance to exploit that area against the All Blacks

"I certainly feel that way, I'm confident in the ability and skills that I have," Folau said.
"It's just a matter of working together with Bernard All Blacks vs Wallabies Live "The Kiwis are good at adjusting and really playing to what they see in front of them during game time."I know Bernard's got that skill set and I'll back him every time to do that if that's required in a game, but we're always looking to work on that."
Folau leads the Tahs tryscoring list this season with eight and his recent form has answered critics of his early season form.

"Even leading into the June (Test) series I was really enjoying my footy with the Tahs, and I've been doing that off the field, which is a huge thing for me," Folau said. While things have gone exceedingly well in recent times, Folau admitted it had been tougher earlier in the season when he was continuing to learn the intricacies of outside centre, where he finished the last Super Rugby campaign and started the current one.

"The start of the year was quite challenging but I've learnt that things don't go smoothly," Folau said.
"I've just learnt to adjust and make the most of those opportunities regardless of whether if I was playing 15 or 13," added Folau, who Tahs coach Daryl Gibson restored to fullback earlier in the season. The Waratahs announced on Tuesday they had signed Brumbies lock Tom Staniforth on a three-year deal.

Staniforth, 22, who has played 17 Super Rugby games, will help NSW overcome the retirement of Dean Mumm and the departure to England of Will Skelton. The All Blacks midfielder posted to Instagram, today, video bonding with seven-month-old Aisha, getting his youngest daughter to laugh at his silly attempts to find out who she loved more.

New Zealand Rugby chairman Brent Impey said Lister was a good rugby man "passionate about the game, especially his beloved green and blacks"."He will be warmly remembered by many around New Zealand and overseas," Impey said.A powerful and versatile loose forward, who could play on either side of the scrum, Lister played 72 games for South Canterbury between 1962-64 and 1968-74.
He also spent three seasons in Wellington, playing 40 games between 1965 and 1967.MISSING a couple of pre-season matches will allow Sonny Bill Williams to return from suspension to face the Wallabies in the Bledisloe Cup series opener in Sydney.
